Won 880 yard run at state as a senior in high school. Also ran legs on the state champion 880 medley relay teams and mile relay teams. Runner-up at state in the 440.
Five-time NCC Track Champion in the 800 and 1500 meters.
Named NCCs most valuable performer in 1984.
Two-time Division II All-American in the 1500 meters and was a member of the 3200 meter relay team that garnered all-American honors.
Still holds 1500 meter records indoors and outdoors at NDSU.
Married to NDSU track star Tom Stambaugh. They have two children.
Inducted into NDSU's Hall of Fame in 1999
Favorite Running Memory
Winning the 880 my Senior year at Fargo South and being inducted into the NDSU Bison Hall of Fame in 2000.
Running has helped me meet many of my friends and my husband.
Running Influences
Gelaine Orvik had the most influence on me as a runner. He was my high school coach and helped me reach many of my goals in running.
