Krista won the State Indoor 3000 meters as an eighth-grader and set a Class B 3200 meters record a few months later. 2 time State Champ outdoors 3200.

Older brother George runs for the University of Mary and was runner-up in the 800 meters and 1600 meters at the 2001 State outdoors.
Younger sister Lindsey has run 2:35 800 and 5:50 1600 at age 11.
Honors and Achievements
As an 7th grader, I got 7th in the 1600 and 5th in the 3200 at State. 3rd in cross country.
As an 8th grader, I got 3rd in the 1600 and 1st in the 3200 with a state Class B record.
As a 9th grader, I was the state runner-up in cross country. Won Indoor 1600 and 3000. Won outdoor State 3200 and runner-up in State 1600.
Have been the recipient of the Lalum Award for outstanding Female Athlete of the year in the district for track and cross country since I have been a 7th grader.
